Job Description:
Gantry Crane Operator (NG Person)
Location:Tilbury, South East England
Hours:07:30 - 18:00
Duration: 2 Months
A leading power and utilities contractor is currently seeking a Gantry Crane Operator (NG Person) to support Power Transmission & Distribution works on a National Grid project.
Duties include:
* Operating gantry crane equipment on a National Grid site
* Supporting lifting operations in a live power environment
* Working in accordance with National Grid rules and procedures
* Assisting site operations as required
* Carrying out pre-use checks and maintaining equipment standards
* Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times
Requirements:
* NG Person authorisation
* Experience operating gantry cranes
* Previous Power T&D or National Grid project experience
* Strong understanding of site safety and lifting operations
