We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a reputable precision engineering company based in Basildon. Rate: £23 – £25 per hour (DOE)
Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Overtime: Available
The RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering company in Basildon. This is a hands-on role involving the programming, setting, and operation of CNC milling machines, working on high-quality, tight-tolerance components.
Key Responsibilities*Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
*Working primarily with HAAS 5-axis machines
*Producing components to precise engineering drawings and specifications
*Editing and proving programs at the machine
*Using measuring equipment to ensure quality and accuracy
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements*Proven experience as a CNC Miller
*Strong background in 3-axis and 5-axis machining (5-axis preferred)
*Experience with Siemens control systems
*Ability to program, set, and operate independently
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Experience working to tight tolerances
