Payroll ManagerLocation: Reading / Maidenhead Area (Office Based)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + Benefits
Reporting to: CFO
The Opportunity
Are you a seasoned Payroll Lead looking for a high-visibility role where you can truly own the function? We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join a leading integrated healthcare management group. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be the strategic lead for a complex, large-scale payroll operation.
The Role
Scale: Oversight of payroll for 3,500 – 4,000 employees across multiple entities.
*Complexity: Managing a diverse workforce with a mix of hourly and monthly pay cycles.
*Leadership: Directly managing a team of 3, including a Payroll Supervisor.
*Impact: Working closely with the CFO to ensure compliance, efficiency, and process improvement across the group.
The Candidate *
Proven experience managing large-headcount payrolls (3,000+).
*Strong understanding of varied pay structures (hourly vs. salaried).
*A "hands-on" leader ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
*Immediate availability or a short notice period is highly advantageous.
