Receptionist

My client is seeking a Receptionist to join their team in Brackley. You will be responsible for the smooth and professional running of the front-of-house reception area. The position delivers a high standard of customer service and hospitality while supporting essential business services and managing incoming switchboard calls. You will:


*Welcome visitors at all levels in a courteous, calm and professional manner; verifying identification, liaising with security when required, and notifying relevant staff promptly
*Answer incoming calls efficiently and politely, directing enquiries appropriately, taking accurate messages, and keeping the company telephone directory up to date
*Manage incoming mail and parcels to ensure timely distribution, and preparing outgoing mail for collection
*Assist employees and visitors with ad hoc requests, including arranging taxis and handling postal requirements
*Administer the visitor booking system, ensuring all visitors are logged on internal systems and access passes are prepared in advance
*Coordinate pool car bookings and maintaining weekly schedules for management teams
*Order reception supplies using the SAP system


The ideal candidate will:


*Ideally have previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role or experience working with a telephone based customer services role
*Have strong written and verbal communication skills
*Have a proactive, positive approach with excellent attention to detail
*Have the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain a professional standard at all times
*Be calm and adaptable when responding to change
*Be flexible in relation to working hours and shift patterns
*Be a confident IT user
*Ideally have experience working with SAP but not essential
