Corporate Finance Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded client in Sheffield, who are looking to appoint a Corporate Accountant to join their growing Corporate Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual who is eager to progress their career in Corporate Finance. The role offers clear development and progression opportunities, alongside exposure to a wide range of Corporate Finance projects, working closely with an experienced and collaborative team.
The Role
You will support the Corporate Finance team across a broad portfolio of transactions, gaining hands-on experience across the full deal lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
*Supporting a variety of mandates including buy-side, sell-side and fundraising projects
*Preparing robust and well-considered financial forecasts
*Assisting with company valuations
*Communicating with potential acquirers, private equity houses, debt funders and other key stakeholders
*Assisting with the preparation of financial due diligence reports
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
*ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification
*Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial information accurately and effectively
*A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
*A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders
*Strong commercial awareness and the ambition to support and contribute to business development activities
