Job Description:
Are you passionate about cars but may be looking to transition into a dynamic office-based job?
We are working with a fast-growing, tech-led automotive services provider to find an Automotive Coordinator to join their friendly and collaborative repairs coordination team based in Reading. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with hands-on automotive experience - such as a service advisor, technician, or parts specialist, or a customer service candidate with some parts knowledge, who enjoys problem-solving and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. Our client is also open to individuals at the start of their career journey if they have a keen interest in the motor industry.
Key Responsibilities:
*Full training will be given to review and assess warranty repair requests using in-house systems
*Liaise with workshops and customers via phone, email, and internal platforms
*Validate diagnoses and ensure accurate parts and labour costs
*Process customer contributions toward repairs
*Apply a solid understanding of warranty coverage and exclusions
*Provide technical support in line with GDPR and compliance standards
Requirements:
*Some basic motor/vehicle parts knowledge
*Confident verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to interpret technical faults and explain decisions clearly
*Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
