Food Technology Teacher - Maternity Cover (ASAP Start)
Location: Oxfordshire
Quantum Scholars are currently working alongside a Good-rated secondary school in Oxfordshire that is seeking a qualified Food Technology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a maternity cover position, with the potential for extension depending on the school’s needs.
The school is a well-established secondary setting with a strong sense of community and high expectations for both staff and students. It prides itself on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging creativity, independence, and ambition. Staff benefit from collaborative teamwork, clear leadership, and a commitment to professional development.
Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for delivering engaging and practical lessons
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Must be available to start ASAP
*Must have a full Right to Work in the UK!
Responsibilities * Planning and delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons
* Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Maintaining a safe and engaging practical learning environment
* Contributing to the wider department and school community
* Upholding the school’s policies and values
