*Purpose of Job
To assist in the delivery of a high quality Planning service throughout the borough; in accordance with the Councils policies and service specification.
The Operative will work independently putting up planning site notices across the borough.
To drive and be responsible for the operation and safe use of a vehicle.

*Prepare notices for putting up
*Plan route
*Erect notices on street furniture as close as possible to the address on the notice.
*Photograph the notice in position using work equipment provided.
*Remove notices and dispose of appropriately
*Upload photos to appropriate system
*To ensure that allocated tasks are correctly completed to include all administrative tasks
*Whilst not driving, perform other duties as appropriate to the level and grade of the post
*To ensure security of mobile phone issued
21 hours a week, post holder would need to attend the office to prepare notices, plan route and erect notices all across the borough of Barnet as near as possible to the notice address, then download photos at the end of each day to the appropriate shared folder.
