We are currently working with a welcoming and creative secondary school in Ealing who are seeking a practical and organised Art Technician to support their Art & Design department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts who enjoys working in a school environment and supporting both staff and students.
The Role As an Art Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Art department by:
* Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for lessons

* Supporting teachers during practical sessions when required

* Maintaining and organising art supplies, stock levels, and storage areas

* Assisting with displays of student artwork around the school

* Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed within the department

* Supporting students with the safe use of tools and materials

The Ideal Candidate * Has experience working in an Art department or similar creative environment (school-based preferred)

* Is organised, reliable, and proactive

* Has a good understanding of art materials, processes, and health & safety

* Enjoys working with young people and supporting creative learning

* Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS
