Health and Social Care Teacher - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time) Location: Bradford & Calderdale
Pay: Daily rate to scale
Contract Type: Long-term supply (with potential ongoing opportunities)
About the Role Academics are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time supply basis across secondary schools and colleges in Bradford and Calderdale.
This role involves delivering engaging lessons in Health and Social Care through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve their academic and vocational goals.
Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Support students’ academic and personal development
* Work collaboratively with school staff and departments
* Maintain high standards of classroom management
Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Health and Social Care (BTEC, OCR, or similar)
* Strong classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
