Job Description:
Neighbourhood Manager
*Location: London, SE1
*Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (minimum 2 month booking)
*Salary: £21.86 per hour
Our housing association client are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Manager for an immediate start in a temporary position. This role is crucial for overseeing estate management tasks such as successions, viewings, and addressing various issues to support estates and tenants effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee and manage estate operations including successions, viewings, and tenant issues.
*Provide excellent personal customer service by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to meet customers’ needs and achieve departmental objectives.
*Ensure homes and local communities are desirable places to live, representing the organisation positively when out and about.
*Develop and maintain relationships to support our customers and assess their needs for effective service delivery.
*Update and maintain systems/records to ensure data accuracy and meet KPIs.
*Ensure properties are safe and compliance with tenancy, lease, or management agreements is maintained.
*Deliver high standards in housing management and provide a flexible face-to-face service committed to solving problems quickly and efficiently.
*Support vulnerable customers, reporting and acting on safeguarding concerns to ensure their wellbeing.
*Work collaboratively with various teams to enhance service delivery and meet housing requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Neighbourhood Manager in estate management.
*Ability to work independently with good initiative and judgement.
*Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
*Strong ability to deliver excellent customer care and value diversity.
*Experience working with digital systems and understanding the complexities around estate management.
*Knowledge of UK Housing Law in relation to residential premises.
*Desirable: Housing qualification such as CIOH.
