Job Role: Sheetfed laser / inkjet Print Operator
Location: Canning Town
Pay Rate: £16ph
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30-18:30
Experience with Xerox Nuvera / Riso Valezus and Canon I300 would be considered favourably.
Duties
*Load paper substrates, manage paper feeds, and configure digital front-end software/print dialogue boxes to meet job specifications
*Monitor print quality, check color accuracy, and adjust parameters to ensure consistency from start to finish.
*Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, clearing jams, replacing toners/inks), troubleshoot mechanical or software issues, and manage consumables to avoid downtime.
*Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and meet production deadlines
*Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Experience
*Proven experience operating machinery or similar manufacturing equipment
*Familiarity with digital print workflows, colour management software, and pre-press prep.
*Understanding of different substrates (coated/uncoated paper, cardstock) and their reaction to heat or ink
*Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools
*Prior experience working with fabrications or in manufacturing settings will be highly regarded
