Job Description:
Responsibilities to include:
*Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format
*Preparing Costs Budgets in form Precedent H in accordance with Departmental requirements/workstreams
*Providing dedicated costs support to colleagues, both within the Department and the legal business
*Working closely with colleagues and Department Manager within a team environment to ensure drafting expectations are achieved
*Maintaining awareness of claim lifecycles and ensuring that service delivery is maintained. Ensuring colleague/management expectations and outcomes are met in a timely fashion.
*Identifying and adhering to department/group objectives
*Showing initiative with ability to work within a team environment but autonomously (managing own caseload) and the capability to deal with complex matters
*Liaising with colleagues to maintain departmental working practices and procedures
*Understanding legal processes and documentation including internal case management system.
*Being passionate and enthusiastic about our work
*Thinking independently and taking ownership of work
*Being agile/responsive to work and adapting to change and evolution within the business
