A well-established ground investigation consultancy based in Swansea is looking to appoint a Junior Environmental Engineer to support a busy pipeline of residential-led projects across the UK. This role offers structured training, long-term progression, and clear support toward professional accreditation, making it an excellent first step for an early-career engineer.
As a Junior Environmental Engineer, you will be involved in both residential and commercial ground investigation schemes throughout South Wales and the South West. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with intrusive site investigations, desktop studies, logging boreholes, carrying out groundwater and gas monitoring, collecting soil samples, and helping to prepare both factual and interpretive technical reports.
The successful Junior Environmental Engineer will receive a comprehensive package, including:

To be suitable for the Junior Environmental Engineer role, applicants should demonstrate:
* A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science, Physcial Geography, Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus, or a related discipline

* A full UK driving licence

* The ability to commute to Swansea and nearby areas

* Full right to work in the UK

* Prior exposure to ground investigation work is advantageous, though not a requirement
