Job Description:
Job Title: Guillotine Operator
Location: Canning Town
Hourly Rate: £15 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30 or late shift 13:30-22:00
Responsibilities:
*Machine Operation: Operate guillotine machinery to cut materials according to specifications and production requirements.
*Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure precision and accuracy in the cutting process. Make adjustments as necessary.
*Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the guillotine equipment and promptly report any issues to the maintenance team.
*Production Targets: Meet daily production targets and adhere to the production schedule outlined in the rota.
*Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
*Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to optimize workflow and achieve production goals.
*Flexibility: Adhere to a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, as per the rota.
*Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any deviations from standard procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
*Previous experience as a Guillotine Operator or similar role is preferred.
*Proficiency in operating guillotine machinery.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
*Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery.
*Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, as outlined in the rota.
*Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
*Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
*Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as necessary.
