We are looking for a caring, resilient and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school supporting pupils with complex needs. This is a full-time temp-to-perm role with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
About the RoleYou will work within a complex needs class, supporting pupils with a range of physical, learning and communication needs. This role is hands-on and will include personal care as part of daily routines.
Suitable BackgroundsThis role is ideal for candidates with experience in:
*Support Work
*Healthcare Assistant (HCA) roles
*SEN support or care settings
*Residential childcare or adult support services
*SEN TA
If you have a background in care, support, or health settings, your transferable skills are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities*Supporting students with complex physical, sensory and learning needs
*Providing personal care (toileting, feeding, hygiene support)
*Assisting the class teacher with daily routines and learning activities
*Using communication tools and sensory equipment
*Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment
*Working closely with teaching staff, therapists and support teams
