Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established accountancy practice located close to Bromley to recruit an Experienced Bookkeeper. This is a great opportunity for a detail-driven finance professional to join a supportive team, working across a varied client portfolio and helping deliver high-quality bookkeeping and accounting support.

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of clients as an Experienced Bookkeeper.
* Process supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payment runs in line with agreed terms.
* Support invoicing, accounts receivable tasks, and credit control where needed.
* Perform regular bank and expense reconciliations across multiple accounts.
* Assist with VAT preparation and submission, preparing schedules for month-end and audit support.
* Contribute to improvements in bookkeeping systems, workflows and processes.


Skills & Experience Required of the Bookkeeper:
* Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance support role, ideally within an accountancy practice.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
* Confidence using finance systems and Excel.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
