Job Description:
Overview
My client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure that buildings, plant, and equipment remain safe, reliable, compliant, and fully operational, while minimising downtime, risk, and cost across the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance across allocated sites.
*Work safely and follow all compliance and Health & Safety guidelines.
*Build strong relationships with colleagues.
*Accurately update and close jobs
*Assess and complete requests efficiently.
*Order and collect materials as needed for repair tasks
Job Related Skills
*General building fabric maintenance – e.g. Basic Joinery, Painting, Basic plumbing and minor floor repairs
*Maintain clear and accurate documentation.
*Fault finding on all types of machinery
*Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the business working on Heavy Industrial Machines.
*Liaise with onsite colleagues to understand related issues, responding confidently and accurately as required
*Identify issues beyond repair, undertake survey and escalate with recommendations.
*Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site standards.
*Perform ad hoc duties as and when required
