Location: Sheffield
Hours: 3-shift pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm–6am)
Salary: £33,989.04 basic + 19.58% shift allowance + Benefits
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield in their search for a Melter to join their established production team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business recognised for its high-quality products and strong focus on safety, training, and progression.
Purpose of the Role: As a Melter, you’ll work as part of a skilled production team responsible for mould building, furnace preparation, melting, and pot building. You’ll play a key part in ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Comprehensive training will be provided across all areas of the role, offering the chance to develop new skills and progress within a well-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Operate within the melting department to support daily production requirements
* Carry out mould building, furnace preparation, melting, and pot building tasks
* Work safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
* Contribute to production, delivery, and quality performance targets
* Report any safety or quality concerns to the Shift Manager promptly
* Provide effective handovers between shifts to ensure smooth operations
We’re Looking For: * Previous vacuum melting or mould building experience
* Knowledge of the casting process
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* FLT and overhead crane experience or certification desirable (training can be provided)
