Reed Accountancy are recruiting for a hands-on Management Accountant. Joining our client in Coventry and taking responsibility for a wide range of accounting and finance tasks across the business. Experience using Sage 50 or Sage 200 would be a real advantage.
About the Role
You’ll look after the day-to-day management accounts, produce accurate financial reports, and support key decisions within a busy accounts team. You’ll also handle a small payroll using SAGE 50 and management accounts on SAGE 200.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Control
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
*Assist with tax computations and HMRC submissions.
*Lead the annual budgeting process and update financial forecasts.
*Manage cashflow and prepare regular forecasts.
*Oversee hire purchase agreements and ensure they are correctly recorded.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns.
*Monthly management accounts
*Bank reconciliation
Payroll & Compliance
*Run monthly and 4-weekly payrolls.
*Complete P11D benefit reporting.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*Strong experience in management accounting.
*Comfortable working with payroll.
*Able to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
Desirable:
*Experience with Sage 50 and Sage 200.


This role is office-based Monday to Friday.
