Personal Tax Manager | Liverpool | £50,000 + Benefits

This is a chance to become part of a growing personal tax team, working closely with senior leadership and helping to shape the delivery of a high-quality, client-focused tax service.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Personal Tax, you will lead and develop a team delivering high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of clients, oversee technical delivery, and support the continued growth and development of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance delivery
*Reviewing self-assessment tax returns and maintaining high technical standards
*Leading, supervising and mentoring junior team members
*Building strong client relationships and identifying advisory opportunities
*Providing advice across areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and share schemes
*Liaising closely with corporate tax colleagues to support client requirements
*Managing HMRC correspondence and compliance matters
*Supporting continuous improvement of systems, processes and client service delivery
About You
*ATT or CTA qualified (or part-qualified with strong relevant experience)
*At least three years’ experience within a private practice tax environment
*Strong technical knowledge across personal tax compliance and advisory
*Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver excellent service
