Job Description:
Incredible opening for a Management Accountant to join a market leader in their field.
The business has exciting plans for growth both in the UK and globally over the coming years and the right candidate will play a pivotal role supporting strategic planning and operational decision-making through high-quality analysis.
This is a highly visible role with a clear plan of development and progression once established in the business.
About the Role
* Preparation of monthly management accounts, including full P&L responsibility, balance sheet recs and variance.
* Progressively automate reporting and streamline month-end processes.
* Delivery of monthly reporting packs with KPI’s, gross margin & overheads.
* Collaborate with finance to produce budgeting, forecasting & analysis.
* Work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver audit.
* Investigate costs across sales, material, labour.
* Business Partner Operations, Production, Planning and other business departments.
* Develop and refine costing models, margin reports and KPI’s.
* Manage ERP update and standardise management reporting processes once live.
Qualifications
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified. Or Qualified by experience with 10 years+ experience.
Required Skills
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and accounting systems).
* Relevant experience from a manufacturing/engineering/Logistics/Project-Based environment.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to deal with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
* Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Desire to progress into a more commercially focussed role once established with the business.
