Job Title: Hose Design & Development Engineer / Technical Lead
Department: Engineering – Hose
Job Purpose
To lead and support product development, process improvement, and technical activities across the hose department, ensuring products meet specifications, production is optimised, and customer satisfaction is maintained. The role combines hands-on engineering, project management, team leadership, and cross-department collaboration.
The Role
*Lead product development and process optimisation projects.
*Maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and design standards.
*Provide hands-on engineering support, including testing and SolidWorks design work.
*Manage and prioritise tasks for a small technical team.
*Support quality approvals, concessions, and warranty investigations.
*Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
*Deliver technical training to internal teams and customers.
What You’ll Bring
*Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
*5+ years in engineering or process manufacturing.
*Strong SolidWorks skills.
*Project management experience.
*Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement.
*Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
