Receptionist
£28k - £35k per annum + benefits
Full-time | Office-based | London (St James’s, SW1)
Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday
This is an opportunity to join a professional financial services organisation in a front-of-house role that is central to the day-to-day running of the office. You’ll provide a welcoming, efficient and well-organised reception service, while also supporting office administration and facilities.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the role would suit someone who is organised, professional and comfortable working in a client-facing environment. Full on-the-job training is provided.
Key responsibilities
*Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience
*Answering, screening and directing incoming calls and emails
*Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms to a high standard
*Offering refreshments and coordinating client lunches and catering with suppliers
*Handling incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
*Supporting office setup requirements, including desk setups, ID badges and welcome packs
Skills and experience
Essential
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A professional, approachable and well-presented manner
*Good organisational skills with attention to detail
*Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy office environment
*A proactive, reliable and flexible approach to work
*Experience in a customer-facing or office-based role
Desirable
*Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or administrative position
Additional information
*Full-time, office-based role
*Standard hours are 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday
*Occasional additional hours may be required to support business needs
*Full training will be provided, including required internal and regulatory training
