Job Description:
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups to cover teachers’ Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time. You will ensure continuity of learning while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and engagement.
Key Responsibilities: * Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
* Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and abilities.
* Follow school policies and routines consistently.
* Provide feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.
* Uphold safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
* Strong classroom management and flexibility.
* Ability to engage pupils quickly and effectively.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
