In this Audit Semi Senior role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality audit engagements by completing testing, preparing financial statements, and assisting with planning and completion work. Description
*Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a range of clients across different sectors
*Perform audit testing across financial statement areas and document audit evidence to a high standard
*Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP
*Support the team in identifying audit risks and recommending improvements
*Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service
*Coach and mentor junior team members
*Work collaboratively with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners to ensure high-quality service delivery and timely completion of assignments
Profile
A successful Audit Semi Senior should have:
*Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA / ACCA
*Previous experience working in external audit within a UK accountancy firm
*Strong understanding of UK GAAP and auditing standards
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
*A proactive approach and willingness to learn and take on responsibility
