Finance and Operations Lead
A highly regarded, founder-led business operating within the luxury events and fashion industry is looking to appoint a senior Finance and Operations Lead to take full ownership of finance while playing a hands-on role in day-to-day operations. This is a visible, trusted position within a tight-knit leadership team, suited to someone who values being embedded in the business rather than watching it from a spreadsheet.
The role is fully onsite in North West London, reflecting a culture built around collaboration, pace and shared standards. The environment is professional, discreet and ambitious, with real pride taken in the reputation and prestige the business has built within the luxury events and fashion industry.
The role Working closely with the founders, the Finance and Operations Lead will combine financial leadership with operational involvement, supporting live project delivery while shaping the commercial backbone of the business. This is a senior role with influence, accountability and genuine scope to drive improvement and growth.
What you’ll be doing *Owning budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management across the business
*Producing monthly management accounts and clear financial reporting
*Maintaining robust controls, processes and compliance
*Managing supplier payments, client invoicing and working capital
*Supporting operational teams with cost control, margin analysis and project profitability
*Providing commercial input into contracts, pricing and supplier arrangements
*Improving systems and processes to support scale and consistency
What we’re looking for *Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
*Senior finance experience within a project-led, service-based environment
*Background from a premium or high-end setting such as luxury brands, marketing agencies, family office or the luxury events industry
*Comfortable in founder-led businesses with high standards and fast decision-making
*Strong commercial judgement with attention to detail
*Professional, discreet and credible with senior stakeholders
What’s on offer *Salary of £70,000 to £75,000 depending on experience
