Job Title: Production Administrator
Location: Sheffield

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a Sheffield based Manufacturing business with a Production Administrator. This role with provide essential administrative and coordination support to the production and planning teams. The Production Administrator focuses on preparing and maintaining production documentation, updating systems, and supporting the smooth flow of work through manufacturing by ensuring accurate information, materials, and schedules are in place.
This is a non-hands-on production role, suited to someone highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment within a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Administrator
*Create, update, and maintain production job cards, route sheets, and supporting documentation
*Issue accurate and timely documentation to the shop floor in line with production schedules
*Update ERP/MRP systems to ensure production data, routings, and work orders are current and visible
*Coordinate with Stores and Goods Inwards to confirm materials and kits are available for production and assembly
*Maintain records for rework and NCR-related activities, updating documentation as required
*Provide administrative support to production planning and scheduling activities
*Prepare information and documentation for pre-production meetings
*Liaise with internal departments including Production, Planning, Sales, and Quality to support day-to-day operations
*Support Sales with administrative information relating to lead times and costs for quotations
Skills and Competencies
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong organisational and time-management skills
*Confident written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
*Methodical, reliable, and conscientious approach to work
*Comfortable working with IT systems and documentation
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
Experience & Requirements
*Previous experience in an administration or coordination role (manufacturing environment desirable)
*Experience using ERP/MRP systems advantageous but not essential
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*Ability to work under pressure in a structured, process-driven environment
