Leeds
£55,000 - £65,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting a thriving engineering business who are in need of a Production Manager to take ownership of day-to-day machining operations, managing a team of millers, turners and EDM operatives, planning workloads and ensuring output meets customer expectations.
Key responsibilities of the Production Manager include:
*Overseeing CNC machining production, including workflow planning, resource allocation and machine utilisation
*Leading, motivating and developing a team of machinists, setters and operators, promoting a culture of excellence
*Driving continuous improvement across quality, productivity and cost efficiency
*Monitoring KPIs and performance data to support informed decision-making
*Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams to resolve issues and enhance processes
*Supporting NPI activities and helping integrate new machinery, tooling and methods
*Ensuring H&S procedures and industry standards are upheld at all times
We’re looking for Production Managers with the below skills & experience:
*Proven experience in Production Management within highly regulated manufacturing
*A confident leader who is able to coach, influence and build capabilities within the team
*Natural problem-solver with solid planning and organisational skills
*Continuous improvement mindset - Lean/5S exposure would be highly valued
*Results-driven, adaptable, and able to thrive under pressure when deadlines matter
