This role could be your perfect first step into conference production.
We’re working with a globally recognised conference organiser that delivers large-scale, high-impact events for multiple industries. Their conferences bring together industry leaders, regulators, researchers and innovators to tackle some of the biggest challenges in science and patient safety today.
They’re now looking for a Conference Producer to help shape two major international life sciences conferences taking place in Europe and the US.
What does a Conference Producer do?
In short: you build the content for the event.
You’ll be responsible for researching hot topics, identifying influential voices in the industry, and recruiting high-calibre speakers to create an agenda that people genuinely want to attend. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days look the same.
Expect to:
*Research emerging trends, key challenges and innovations shaping healthcare and the life sciences sector
*Identify, approach and recruit senior-level speakers from industry, academia and regulatory bodies
*Hold high-quality conversations with experts and turn those insights into compelling conference content
*Shape agendas, panels and session formats
*Work closely with sales, marketing and event operations teams to deliver world-class events
*Manage speaker relationships from first contact through to the live event
You’ll be recruiting around 200 speakers across two flagship conferences, so organisation, confidence and resilience are key.
Who would suit this role?
This role is ideal for a commercially minded graduate who enjoys research, recruitment, and relationship-building, and wants to work at the intersection of science and business.
We’d love to see:
*A life sciences related degree
*OR experience as a recruitment consultant (especially within scientific markets) looking for a more creative, content-driven role
*OR 1–2 years’ experience in research, conference production, events or a similar role
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
*Smart, driven and naturally curious
*Confident speaking to senior professionals
*Comfortable picking up the phone and building rapport quickly
*Organised, proactive and keen to progress
