Head of Financial Planning, Corporate Reporting & Projects
6-Month Contract | £85,000–£97,000 pro rata
NHS Organisation | Hybrid – 2 days on site (Central London)
An NHS organisation in Central London is seeking an experienced Head of Financial Planning & Corporate Reporting to join on a 6-month contract.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, this senior role will lead the Trust’s monthly financial reporting to Board and external stakeholders, oversee Trust-wide budget setting and financial planning, and support the development of medium- and long-term financial models. You will play a key role in financial governance, efficiency programmes, and major finance-led projects that strengthen reporting, control and performance.
The postholder will work closely with senior finance leaders and divisional teams, producing high-quality Board and regulatory reports, supporting year-end processes, and driving continuous improvement in financial reporting systems and processes.
Key experience required:
*Must be fully CCAB qualified
*Senior NHS financial planning and reporting experience
*Strong knowledge of NHS regulatory reporting and budget setting
*Proven ability to influence at Board and executive level
*Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
Hybrid working with 2 days per week on site in Central London.
