Description
Part-time Payroll/Bookkeeper
Payroll Administration *Processing the company’s payroll using the appropriate payroll software, ensuring accuracy and timely submission each pay period.
*Ensuring full internal compliance with statutory payroll requirements, including PAYE, National Insurance, and workplace pension duties.
VAT Compliance *Preparing and submitting the company’s VAT returns, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with HMRC regulations.
Bookkeeping & Internal Accounts Management *Overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping activities for the company, including double-entry postings, maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, and performing routine bank reconciliations.
*Supporting the internal finance team with the preparation of monthly accounts, assisting in trial balance production, and contributing to year-end financial reporting.
*Proficient use of accounting systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero

Part-time Payroll/Bookkeeper
*Available on short notice or immediately available
*Happy to be flexible with business requirements on the part time adjustments
*Able to commute to the office location (parking on site) - Twyford
*Proficient within payroll tasks (essential) - ideally within Sage
*Bookkeeping activities are also essential as this is a shared role
*Happy with part time hours
*Ideally interim to permanent!
