Senior Buyer

We’re recruiting a Senior Buyer for a well-established UK manufacturing business. Reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain, this role will take ownership of key commodities, supplier relationships, and cost-reduction initiatives while supporting wider supply chain improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing supplier sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, and contracts
*Owning specific commodities and mitigating supply chain risk
*Delivering cost savings and improving delivery performance
*Supporting NPI projects and production demand planning
*Creating forecasts and KPI reporting
*Supporting team leadership and process improvement initiatives
About you:
*CIPS Level 4 qualified (or working towards)
*5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing purchasing environment
*Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
*Confident working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
*Full UK driving licence
