We are seeking a dedicated and professional Water Hygiene Technician to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities As a Water Hygiene Technician, you will:
*Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems meet safety and compliance standards.
*Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading tank chlorinations.
*Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).
*Conduct routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, including flushing outlets, temperature monitoring, descaling showerheads, and flushing pressure vessels.
*Perform sampling for closed water systems.
*Use the SimPRO system to manage your workload efficiently.
*Identify potential issues and proactively provide solutions.
*Maintain a thorough understanding of HSE’s ACoP L8 and HSG274 to uphold our professional and compliant reputation.
Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need:
*A full, clean UK driving licence.
*City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent qualifications, or relevant industry experience.
*Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
*A commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance and professionalism.
Day-to-Day Your day will be varied and engaging, involving:
*Visiting different customer sites to carry out inspections and maintenance.
*Ensuring water systems are safe and compliant through routine monitoring and cleaning tasks.
*Collaborating with a supportive team and using cutting-edge technology to manage your tasks.
*Building strong relationships with clients and delivering exceptional service.
