An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy and collaborative finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role supports the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll across multiple international regions.
As the organisation continues to expand and consolidate its payroll operations, this role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll delivery while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
You will contribute to the success of the payroll team by supporting a range of activities, including:
*Processing starters and leavers
*Managing one-off payments, season ticket and bicycle loans
*Checking and verifying payroll changes
*Handling tax uploads
*Recording and monitoring sickness absence
*Processing statutory absences, including maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave
*Supporting international payroll processing
*Preparing reports and performing payroll reconciliations
*Conducting data cleansing and third-party payments
*Assisting with correspondence and providing excellent customer service
*Supporting ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
Requirements
*Strong payroll processing experience
*Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
*Experience or understanding of working within a Shared Service Centre environment
*Good knowledge of payroll legislation and standard payroll processes
*Ability to create and review procedures effectively
*Proven experience in process improvement and identifying efficiency opportunities
*Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
