The role
As a Sales Administrator, you will be at the heart of the sales and order process, ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient, and reliable service from order placement right through to delivery. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you will help keep everything running accurately, smoothly, and on schedule.
*Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
*Managing multiple live orders at any one time, many of which remain open while awaiting supplier information
*Handling customer enquiries and orders via phone and email
*Acting as a key point of contact for customers, delivering clear, professional communication
*Liaising with internal departments to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time
*Updating and maintaining customer and order data on internal systems
*Monitoring order progress and proactively keeping customers informed
*Resolving order-related queries calmly and efficiently while maintaining high service standards
The candidate
You will bring experience, organisation, and a customer-first mindset.
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Sales Administrator, Sales Order Processor, or similar role
*Experience within a busy, technical, manufacturing, or supply-chain environment (highly desirable)
*Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*Confident, professional communication skills with customers and colleagues
*Comfort using internal systems and standard office software
*A genuine pride in delivering outstanding customer service
*Enjoyment of working as part of a small, collaborative, and supportive team
