I’m working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm in Torquay that is looking to appoint a Private Client Tax Manager to join its growing tax team.
This role would suit an experienced tax professional who is keen to take the next step in their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client base, including trusts and high-net-worth individuals.

Your role as a Private ClientTax Manager:
*Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including trusts and High-Net Worth individuals.
*Draft advisory reports and client correspondence covering areas such as IHT planning, residence and domicile.
*Meet with clients to understand their tax planning needs and provide tailored advice.
*Provide CGT advice on property, shares and other assets for UK and non-UK resident individuals.
*Review work prepared by junior team members and support their ongoing development.
*Oversee compliance services, including preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns and computations.
*Identify opportunities to introduce clients to other service lines, particularly financial planning.
*Request, collate and maintain client information.
*Deal confidently with client queries and correspondence.
*Liaise directly with clients, HMRC, solicitors and other professional advisers to deliver an excellent client experience.
What you’ll need to succeed:
*You must be ACA Qualified with post qualification experience.
*ATT or CTA qualification (or equivalent), with strong and up-to-date technical knowledge.
*A good understanding of regulatory and compliance standards within tax.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
*A professional, discreet and client-focused approach, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
