Production Team Leader / Area Team Leader / Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Coordination
*Manage day-to-day workflow within the Waxroom and Investment Area
*Plan labour and resources to meet production schedules
*Support, motivate and develop team members
*Maintain and update training plans
Production & Performance
*Achieve output targets and departmental KPIs
*Allocate work daily/hourly based on production needs
*Monitor productivity, scrap, rework and labour usage
*Maintain accurate production and ERP system records
Health & Safety
*Ensure all staff follow safety procedures and use correct PPE
*Conduct routine safety checks and report concerns
*Investigate near-misses and incidents appropriately
*Act as Fire Marshal for the area
Quality & Continuous Improvement
*Carry out process checks and first-off inspections
*Ensure work instructions are followed correctly
*Support lean improvements and problem-solving activities
*Report and record inspection, scrap and rework data
Maintenance
*Oversee daily checks of equipment and tooling
*Report faults promptly and isolate unsafe equipment
*Ensure tooling is checked before and after operation
What We’re Looking For
Essential
*Experience supervising or leading a team in a production or manufacturing environment
or a Level 2/3 Team Leader qualification
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate a team
*Good attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Desirable
*Experience in an investment casting or foundry environment
*Knowledge of risk assessments, COSHH and general H&S procedures
