Job Description:
A Wokingham-based marketing, distribution and building services business is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and customer focused representative to join its office team. The position will involve providing customer sales and services to commercial businesses and private consumers. A varied and interesting role, you will play a key part in the development and growth of the business. Previous knowledge and experience of providing quotations would be an advantage but full training will be provided. The position would suit a candidate with a strong customer focus and organisational skills with a background in customer service, sales support or account management.
Key Responsibilities
*Support Distribution Team Leader
*Quote preparation and order processing
*Receive incoming enquiries and maximise sales through product information
*Raising invoices and dealing with quotations
*Understanding customers queries and provide solutions
*A strong and continuous focus on business development
*Organising and managing the leaflet distribution schedule
*Finding distribution matches to maximise company profits
*Schedule management
*Creating distribution maps using mapping software
*Quality based customer service
*File and organisation management
*Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships
*Ad hoc warehouse work
*Other administrative office duties
*Providing support to colleagues, subcontractors and gutter technicians
*Customer support for gutter sales enquiries
*Assisting the Gutter Team with any duties when required
Skills and Experience
*Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the natural ability to build good rapport
*Accuracy, attention to detail, articulate and numerate
*Ability to manage time with experience of working towards objectives and achieving goals/deadlines
*Experience in Business-to-Business sales an advantage
*Excellent telephone manner
*Good IT skills – Word and Excel essential; competency with the internet and dealing with technology
*Customer focused attitude with experience of problem solving and overcoming objections
*Team player who can also work on own initiative
*Able to work to deadlines and thrive in a busy environment
*Driven, hardworking and proactive
*Enthusiastic and sociable individual

*Full UK driving licence advantageous
The role provides crucial support to the distribution manager and gutter cleaning team, and the person must be able to multitask and cope within a busy sales and administration environment. The employee must have the ability to work towards objectives with a calm and helpful approach.
They must be an excellent communicator, both written and verbally, with a pleasant telephone manner.
The person must be able to thrive on being busy, and able to remain calm under pressure and fulfil the requirements of the job in an organised and efficient manner.
