Trainee Client Accountant
A growing accountancy practice in Bexhill-On-Sea is looking to bring in a Trainee Client Accountant to support its expanding client base. This is a hands-on role for someone with solid bookkeeping experience who wants to build broader accounts skills within a supportive, well-structured practice.
The role You’ll work across a varied portfolio of clients, supporting day-to-day bookkeeping and developing your exposure to accounts preparation over time.
Key responsibilities include:
*Bookkeeping for a range of clients
*Preparing VAT returns
*Assisting with management accounts
*Supporting accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
*Filing CIS returns and managing deadlines
About you *Previous bookkeeping/ Accounts experience within practice
*Comfortable using Xero, QuickBooks or similar software
*Organised, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
*Keen to develop your accounting skills and progress long term
What’s on offer *Salary of £30,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
