Job Description:
School Cleaner required – Primary School in HarlowEngage Education Services are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to work in a welcoming primary school in Harlow. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with experience maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a school environment.
This role is offered on a full-time, temporary basis.
Working HoursThe working hours for this role are:
*Evening shift: 2:30pm to 6:30pm
About the RoleAs a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
*Carrying out general cleaning duties across the school
*Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
*Dusting and wiping down surfaces
*Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom areas
*Emptying bins and replacing liners
*Replenishing supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
*Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
*Following all health & safety and cleaning procedures
*Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate staff member
About YouTo be considered for this role, you should:
*Have experience working in a school or similar environment
*Hold a valid enhanced DBS, ideally on the DBS Update Service
*Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Be available to interview and start immediately
