Atkinson Moss delighted to be representing locally owned and privately run organisation in the Wisbech area as they seek to appoint an ambitious Financial Controller looking for a pathway to Finance Director. Our client has ambitious plans and a clear strategy for continued expansion across Europe. This role is an office-based position leading a team of five and will be responsible for the whole finance function and continuous process improvements
Key role responsibilities and duties:
*Producing timely financial data in relation to operating performance.
*To lead finance department and provide continuous improvement to processes, controls and systems.
*Ensuring the Company meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.
*Pension Scheme administration and review of arrangements.
*Prepare and present to the Board business financials.
*Strategic planning for new business initiatives.
*Instigate reports to assist with performance and financial statistics for long term forecasting.
*Oversight of outsourced company payroll.
*Ensure VAT, Statistical Reporting and returns are completed on time.
*Manage, review and authorise bank payments.
*Responsible for Company cash flow and forecasting requirements
*Oversee/Manage loan stock drawdowns
*Overseeing the preparation international entity management accounts.
Skills required:
The ideal candidate will be ICAEW qualified and able to demonstrate commercial awareness and strong technical capability. Experience of communicating with senior stakeholders and leading a finance team is paramount.
