This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong personal and corporate tax experience who is looking for a high-quality part-time role within a professional and supportive financial services environment.
The Role – Part-Time Tax AccountantAs a tax accountant, you will support the finance function and advisers, delivering accurate reporting and compliance across personal and company tax, accounts and regulatory reporting. This role would suit an experienced accountant seeking a long-term part-time position with genuine career development.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Compilation of statutory accounts
*Personal Self-Assessment tax returns
*Limited company corporation tax returns
*Reconciliation of commission statements
*Invoicing and credit control
*Property and service-charge accounting
*KPI reporting and regulatory documentation
*Treasurer services for local charities
The Ideal Candidate*Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA)
*Experience in personal tax and Self-Assessment
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Confident working independently in a part-time role
*Xero experience beneficial (not essential)
What’s On Offer*Salary £45,000 – £50,000 pro-rata
*Flexible part-time working – 5 mornings or 5 afternoons per week
