Job Description:
Wire Person / Fitter – Newhaven – Permanent
A specialist electronic wiring sub-contractor is seeking an experienced Wire Person / Fitter to join their team in Newhaven. The ideal candidate will have experience in cable assemblies, cable looms, panel wiring, and mechanical fitting.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work as a Wire Person / Fitter, assembling and wiring electrical components.
*Read and interpret engineering drawings/schematics, identifying any build issues.
*Test and inspect completed work to ensure high standards.
*Fit and assemble mechanical components, ensuring correct alignment and functionality.
*Carry out basic mechanical modifications and installations.
*Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
*RequirementsProven Wire Person / Fitter experience.
*Ability to follow technical drawings with attention to detail.
*Experience with hand tools for mechanical assembly.
*Strong communication skills and a flexible approach.
