You will work closely with teachers and the SENCo to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistants in Bedford
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
*Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
*Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies
*Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
*Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
*Support behaviour management and emotional regulation where required

*Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
