REED Business Support are actively working in partnership with a long-established, reputable building contractor based in Dorset, delivering construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across the South—ranging from £20 to £5,000,000. With nearly five decades of experience, strong client relationships, and a reliable track record, they are proud to be a contractor that people trust.
As the Business Development & Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving their continued growth. This position is central to the business, with responsibility for producing high-quality PQQs and tender submissions, supporting marketing activity, and helping develop new opportunities.

What You’ll Do
Tendering & PQQ Excellence (Top Priority)
You will take ownership of creating outstanding tender submissions and PQQs, ensuring they’re accurate, compliant, well-written, and always delivered on time. You will:
*Work closely with estimators to produce professional tender documents
*Manage tender portals, clarifications, and submission requirements
*Maintain up-to-date company information, templates, and supporting documents
*Monitor pipelines and deadlines to ensure no opportunity is missed
Business Development & Networking
Be the face of the business alongside the Head of Business Development by:
*Attending networking events, meetings, and industry functions
*Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and consultants
*Supporting the identification of new business leads and opportunities
Accreditations & Compliance Support
Help maintain our strong reputation by ensuring all accreditations and certifications remain current and compliant:
*Supporting annual renewals and evidence gathering
*Coordinating policies and information with internal teams
Marketing & Communications
Support our brand presence and marketing efforts by:
*Assisting with content gathering, case studies, and project updates
*Supporting social media activity and marketing campaigns
*Helping maintain a consistent, professional company image across platforms
