CNC Turner - Christchurch, Dorset - £19-23ph inclusive Early Finish Fridays - Modern Nakamura machines
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced CNC Turner to join a precision engineering company based in Christchurch, Dorset. This role offers exposure to advanced Nakamura machinery, a supportive working environment, and an excellent work-life balance.Why apply / What’s in it for you? * You’ll earn £19-£23 per hour, based on experience
* You’ll work a 37-hour week with early finishes every Friday
* You’ll receive 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
* You’ll programme and operate high-spec CNC turning machinery
* You’ll enjoy a secure, long-term role in Christchurch, Dorset
Key responsibilities As a CNC Turner, you’ll:
* Programme, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
* Work across Nakamura NTJ, WY-150 and AS200 machines
* Produce complex components to tight tolerances
* Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency
What we’re looking for We’re looking for a CNC Turner who has:
* Strong CNC turning experience with Fanuc controls
* Programming, setting and operating capability
* Experience working with twin spindle and twin turret machines
* A detail-focused and methodical approach
