A well-established automotive business based in the Southampton area are seeking to recruit an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper for an initial period of 6-months. This is a key role supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a strong focus on invoicing and accurate record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing sales and purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
*Bank and credit card reconciliations
*Maintaining ledgers and financial records
*Liaising with suppliers, customers, and external accountants as required
*Supporting general office and administrative tasks related to finance
About You:
*Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
*Strong understanding of invoicing processes and reconciliations
*Proficient with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar)
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Well organised and able to work independently
*Automotive industry experience desirable but not essential
