Job Description:
IFA Administrator
Altrincham (Fully office based)
Salary (DOE)
Our Client, a highly professional and rapidly expanding firm of Chartered Financial Planners are currently looking to recruit a motivated and hardworking IFA Administrator to join their exceptionally busy Pensions & Investments Team.
Benefits:
o 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays
o Salary is subject to experience plus team bonus
o Company Pension
o Income Protection - 75% of salary, payable after a 13-week deferred period.
o Group life cover (death in service) - 4x salary
Responsibilities:
o Processing and submitting new business adhering to the new business workflow.
o Submitting Letters of Authority and collating all of the required plan details for research and analysis
o Meeting and greeting clients, answering and dealing with incoming enquiries
o Portfolio rebalancing, buying and selling
o Accurately processing client withdrawals and contributions and monitoring these through to completion.
o Preparing clients packs for Annual Review meetings and then completing the work required post meeting
o Writing basic Suitability Reports
o Completing research for new business cases, primarily fund and cost analysis
Experience:
Previous experience with the following would be very useful -
o Intelliflo
o A J Bell
o Transact
o Royal London
o Canada Life International
o FE Analytics
You must have a minimum of two years experience within this type of role and have a very high level of attention to detail along with the ability to work independently managing your own workload of tasks delegated by the Team Manager. Our client supports their staff with professional development which includes paying a bonus on each exam passed.
