PCB Assembler Salary: £16 per hour
Hours: Compressed week – Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 5:30pm

What You’ll Be Doing
*Soldering a variety of PTH components to IPC or J-STD standards (Class 2 & 3)
*Operating X-Ray inspection equipment to validate solder joints
*Assembling simple cables, small mechanical builds, and enclosures
*Programming and operating selective soldering and wave soldering machines
*Following the manufacturing drawings and build instructions accurately
*Logging time and production notes using the company’s computer-based system
*Reporting quality issues and working closely with the Quality Manager to maintain high standards
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*Comfortable with both manual assembly and operating soldering equipment
*Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation
Desirable:
*Experience soldering to IPC or J-STD standards
*Previous experience within a manufacturing or electronics environment
